(JENEVA, Dec. 14. —Geneva is wonderingly asking whether it is supposed to celebrate a.- thanksgiving festival or participate in national mourning on the occasion of the annual Fete de l’Escalade.
The police have issued regulations setting out: “It is forbidden to kiss women or young girls unawares, to chase them into side alleys, or to take hold of them round the waist, reprehensible Acts at which public opinion rebels.” Public opinion. especially among woman, is inclined' to resent the pronibition.
