INDIA’S RECOVERY.
CALCUTTA, Dec. Hi.—The Viceroy. Lord Reading, addressing the Associated Chaambers of Commerce at Calcutta, dilated upon the recovery of India’s trade. Ln 1020-21, exports totalled (1,000,000 tons, bul in 1924-2.5 the figures were 10,500,000 tons —the best trade year India had ever known. The total value of Imports and exports was £4457.000,000 —a record. Conditions generally Itad improved rapidly.
