WIDOWS’ PENSIONS.
(Received November 27, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 27. The Assembly, read a first time the Widows’ Pensions Bill, which provides that a widow with one or more dependent children shall receive All weekly and 10s weekly for each child under- the a;;e of 14 years. ' (Received Nov. 27. l p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 27. The widows’ pensions scheme is estimated to cost half a million' sterling per annum.
