■ POLICE SEARCH INSTITUTED. FEARS FOR HIS SAFETY. August Hereamai, of Motco, a boss shearer, employed by Ala* E. R. Dampney, of “Eylnnds,” To Poliue, Hawke’s Bay, Jeff camp on Tuesday and has not been seen since. Fears are entertained for his safety, and a search party, headed by Constable Thompson, is out looking for the missing man, who, it is reported to the police, has been acting qucerly of late, having become obsessed with the idea that lie was not doing Sufficient work, although, there was nothing to complain of in that respect. Hereamai is 32 years of age, stands 6ft. 2in., and weighs 18 stone.
