Whitehead at Grey street hall last, evening. “Yv’e live,” he said, “in a day when God’s word of precious truth is sot aside and whittled down. In a subtle way the enemy had succeeded in side-tracking many Christians. Emphasising the importance of “rightlv dividing the word of truth,” llie speaker declared that the doctrine of evolution would not stand the test of Scriptures. It was impossible for the two doctrines to agree. The trull) to-day was being resisted in many ways. The mission will he continued to-night, and the closing meeting is expected to be hold on Sunday evening.
