At a stop-work meeting of the Sydney branch of the Waterside Workers Federation, the subject of the deportation of Walsh and Johannsen was not mentioned; The view is freely expressed that if the loaders of the Seamen’s Uinert aredeported there will be no strike of waterside workers. ‘•TIME TO CLfInT'P THE MOVEMENT.” (Received November 26, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Nov. 26. A meeting of seamen-from all inter; (State ships'in Port Adelaide discussed the deportation of Walsh and Johansen. and passed a number of definite and secret motions, which will be forwarded to the Federal executive of the Union. PERTH, Nov. 20. General dissatisfaction in Labor circles regarding the actions cf the Senmen’s Union at Fremantle, culminated in the Fremantle district council of the Australian Labor party, bv an overwhelming majority, carrying a, motion ordering the Seamen's Union to vacate offices in the Trades Hall. _ A resolution was also adopted declaring the Seamen's Union’s actions against the best interests of Labor and it was felt the time had* como to clean up the movement.
