GOSPEL MISSION.
. “Evidences of the New Birth,” was the subject- discussed by Mr E. Whitehead at Grey street hall last evening. In emphasising the necessity of the “change of heart,” the missioner said a word of warning should he raised owing to present day professions of those'whose lives did not disclose evidence of the “new- birth.” There was a need of the word of God being applied to the walk and life of believers. .Scripture distinctly gave warning against- an empty heart. Moody lias 'declared that an empty heart was as much •a Christies* heart as one where Satan reigns and rages. The mission will he contimied this evening.
