MAGISTERIAL RECOUNT ASKED FOR. In connection with Hie recent licensing jin’ll resulting in the carrying of restoration l of licenses in the Ohineinuri electorate, an application has been made lo Mr. -J. H. .Salmon. S.M. for a recount of the votes recorded. This action lias been taken as the result of a conference of no-license supporter's held at Paevoa a few days ago. ( The procedure now lo be followed will he the fixing of a, date by the Magistrate for a recount of the votes iri his presence, he befog the authority to decide how many disputed ballot papers shall be counted. Representatives of both parties will he present at the recount, which is to he held at am early date as can conveniently lie arranged by the Magistrate.
