(To the Editor of the Heruld.) Kir, —Barents should consider well the following before they record their votes at the general election next month. The position is tlml in I lie high schools and colleges in New Zealmid (which are attended mainly by tin l children of the prosperous classes) I lie Bible is ready daily, without causing strife; but the present Liberal and Labor candidates for Parliament are dead against the children of the public schools being allowed to read the Bible in the schools, in fact so bitter arc the members of the Labor and 'Liberal (now Nat ional) parties against the Bible lessons that they sat up all
