AUSTRALIANS AT WELLINGTON.
(Per Proa? AfiaociatumJ WELLINGTON, last night. In an exhibition match to-day, Anderson beat G. Olliviev (New, Zealand singles champion)—6 —4, 7 —5. The game was played on hat'd courts. Anderson generally was superior, Ollivier led 5—3 in the second set, but was outpaced. Anderson also beat D. Andrews (Wellington provincial champion). In the doubles exhibition Anderson and N, Wilson (Wellington) beat Ollivier and Andrews—6 —4, 4—6, 6—o. A number of sets were played between New Zealand ladies who mixed with Hie Australians to form doubles, and all the pairs which included the Australians. Mrs Harper, and Misses Boyd and Akhurst, won. The New Zealand ladies were Mrs Scott-, and Misses Ballaniyiiei Partridge, Spiers, M. MacParlane, and - M - 'll IV I, n.w rfflj '
