CATHOLIC BAZAAR.
The bazaar organised by the Roman Catholics of the district in aid of their church building extension fund was continued with pronounced success at the City Hall last evening, a most enjoyable timo being spent by everyone. There was a large attendance, numbers of visitors to the town availing tlieinselvec of the opportunity of being present at function. The‘various stalls, well stock-' ed with all manner of novelties and useful articles, again did brisk business. An enjoyable entertainment, arranged by Mrs. Phil Barry, was presented, and was greatly appreciated. Dancing items were contributed by Misses Stella Bradfield. Una Fisken, R. Sexton, G. Newey, and Master T. Jones. The art union for the gold nugget, valiud at £lO, was drawn during the evening, the prize going to Mr. S. Albert, of Motuhora. The estimating competition for the ham was won by Mrs. G. Bnscko. while Miss Stark won the competition for a cushion, and Miss E. Busckc. wop a coat and hat. The bazaar will ha continued at Hie,Oily Hid! to-night.
