A comet visitor whoso cycle brings it within the ken of astronomers every years, though not always picked up readily, was found by the honorary director of Wanganui observatory earlyon Saturday morning. This is Brooks’ comet, which made its appearance at 12 hours 45 minutes a.in. in right ascension 23 hours 13 minutes 25 seconds south declination, 40 degrees 58 minutes.
