MAORI BISHOPRIC.
(Per Press Association!.) AUCKLAND, this day. The Anglican 'Synod adopted the motion strongly recommending the General Synod to form a now diocese for Maoris throughout New Zealand, and agreeing to any needed alterations in the boundaries of the Auckland' diocese. The motion was carried.amid enthusiasm, members springing to their feet and singing the Doxology. During the discussion Archbishop Avcrill said he honestly believed the proposal for a Maori diocese had no connection whatever with the Ratana movement.
