EIGHT HOURS DAY AT SEA.
PARIS, June 25.—The International Congress of Officers of the Mercantile Marine, which has been sitting here, lifts come to an end 1 after eleven long sittings. A discussion on the application of the eight hours day concluded with the adoption of a resolution by which the delegates of the different nations undertook to use all possible pressure with their respective Governments in favor of the eight hours day or the '4B hours week, to be applied in all the merchant fleets of the world.
