HOP-GROWING INDUSTRY.
STATE ASSISTANCE. (Received July 14, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, July 14. As the result of an inquiry into the Tasmanian hop industry, the Federal Government is making £24,576 .available to assist growers. It is also taking steps to induce brewers to reduce imports in favor of locally-grown hops. .
