Over 2000 sheep were sold under the hammer at F.ketahunu last week, and it was tin' best sale ever held in the district. Kwes in lamb to Soutlidowns were sold at up to £2 Ss per head and several other lines realised over £2 ■per head. Many buyers were present from Manawntu, Hawlce’s Bay and all paj'ts of the Wnirarapa. —Age.
