Mr. Bishop lias been in the company's service for tifty-threc yciirs, and is looked up to throughout New Zealand as father gas industry in the Dominion. Forty-two years ago, lie v.as appointed secretary of the company, and for the past ten years has filled I hi' office of general manager. He has hern intimately concerned with the success of the company, from its early days. Mr. E. W. Heed, who has been secretary of the company since 1915. takes over Mr. Bishop’s duties as general manager.
