At Whungnroi last Friday night two more thefts were 'committed after premises had been broken into. In one cnee a smoke shed in Vine street, at the rear of Timewell and King’s butchery, was robbed of a number of sides of bacon, the door having been, forced. In the othor, which occurred at Dr. Vcntrv Smith’s residence, Walton strfeet, adjoining the town wharf, a window was opened and a blanket and quilt stolen. The ownor is in. England and at the time of the robbery both housekeepers were away from the promises, _ Six burglaries'have been committed within weak.
