NEW ARRIVALS.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. A party of 549 immigrants, including 50 domestics, arrived by the Allienic at Auckland to-day, the great majority being from Scotland. The immigrants are of an excellent type and most of them are young. Those bound for Wellington and all other destinations except GisboVne left by train to-night. The Gisborne contingent sailed early Ibis evening by the Wainui.
