The Empire Community Settlement Committee reports that a scheme aiming at the establishment of residential settlements in the Dominions of ex-officers and others, without capital, but possessing pensions 01/ other fixed incomes, has attracted the widest response from pensioned officers and civilians who have spent their lives in military colonial services, desiring to settle in warmer climates than that of Britain and to give their children opportunities not available here.
