LONDON, Jan._l6.-The British Post Office is considering a scheme for the installation at telephone exchanges of a message delivery department, where telephone messages can be received and noted in the absence of a subscriber from his home or office. Under the scheme proposed, a subscriber who had to leave his telephone with no one to answer it would simply inform the exchange, and then any calls would automatically he transferred 1 to the message delivery room. Upon his return the subscriber would call up this room and' obtain any messages received for him.
