THE FOLLOWING ARE COPIES OF TELEGRAMS RECEIVED BY THE CLEVELAND AUTOMOBILE CO., DATED 22nd NOVEMBER, 1924, AND 18th DECEMBER, 1924. CLEVELAND EXPORT DEPARTMENT, 1819 BROADWAY, NEW YORK. Cleveland Stock Touring Car, Ralph Mulford driving, breaks* former record on Mount Wilson, held bv Chrysler, of twenty-five minutes forty-eight eighty-five hundredths seconds, by one minute and eighty-one hundredths seconds, thereby winning Evening Express Cup, which will be held for six months and thereafter until this record is broken. Cleveland Six Touring Car, Mulford driving, yesterday, at Culver City, California, broke the one thousand mile record for strictly Stock cars held by Chrysler, by two hours thirty-nine minutes and twenty-three seconds, making the thousand miles in eight hundred forty-eight minutes. This is the greatest record ever made, and stands out unparalled in the history of motor car performances. The run was supervised by the Contest Board of the American Automobile Association.
