A LABOR PREMIER.
MR. GILLIES SUCCEEDS MR. THEODORE. BRISBANE, Feb. 25. The Labor party has elected Air. W. Gillies Premier in succession to Mr. Theodore (resigned). Air. Gillies was previously Alinister for Agriculture. OTHER APPOINTMENTS MADE. (Received Feb. 26, noon.) BRISBANE, Feb. 26. Mr. W.. McCormack has been selected as deputy-leader of the State Parliamentary Labor party. Air. Breennan, who is Minister for Public Instruction, has baen appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court. Tavo neve Ministers, Messrs. Wilson and T. Dunstan, have been chosen.
