Although victorious in the fight to remove any question of professionalism from play-writing, William Tilden still faces some kinks in Lis status as a result of newspaper work, in addition to which lie is devoting more time than ever before to cinema and (lie drama. Tilden, nevertheless, is expected to carry off the American tennis crown for the sixth straight- year, and again form a main link in the Davis Cup defence.
