ATHLETICS FOR STUDENTS.
AN INTERESTING PROJECT. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received February 26, 10 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 25. An interesting proposal will be considered in March at Nottingham, when representatives of Oxford, London, Edinburgh, and Bristol Universities, and the president and secretary of the InterVaiisifv Athletic Board will endeavor to form an organisation to control and arrange matches and all sports between Universities in the United Kingdom, and teams representing Dominion students. It is proposed to hold triangular athletics next term between the Universities, Archillies Club, and the Dominions, followed by cricket, tennis, and football. Tlie New Zealander, Poritt, and tlie Victorian. Sholl, will represent Oxford thereon.
