(Per Press Assoeisuion.) AUCKLAND, this day. At the annual conference of delegates of the Northilsland Brass Bands Association the annual report commented upon the‘satisfactory agreement between the x North and South Island Associations for th© conduct of contests alternatively in the North and South Island. The large entries for tho first championship in Auckland had given a fresh impetus to brass bands generally, bringing together the finest bands'in New Zealand to contest the championship. Tha following officers were elected : President, Air. Holbcn (Palmerston North); secretary. Mr. Seddon (Wanganui) ; treasurer, .Mr. Breule (Wanganui) ; trustees, Messrs Cohen and Wil.hraron and Colono! Dingle; executive committee, Messrs.- Williamson (Auckland), Copley and Hooker (New Plymouth), Anderson, Crawford. Humphries and Hall (Wanganui). Barton (Marlon), Goodnll (Wellington), and Hale (Palmerston N-ort h)
