INVITATION TO THE PRINCE. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. In a discussion on local housing conditions at the Christchurch Council of Congregations, the Rev. J. J. North said he thought it a thousand pities that the Prince of Wales did not accept the invitation of a Labor member at Home to visit the slums of Glasgow. The force and power of the British Royal House could he exerted to set the community in a very righteous condition of fury at the housing conditions in the cities.
