TO-MORROW’S SALE AT NAPIER, For the fourth Napier wool sale of the 1924-25 season, which takes place in Napier on Wednesday, a catalogue of 20,029 bales will bo offered, the offerings of Hie various brokers being:— Bales Williams and Kettle, Ltd. ... 5577 N.Z. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable, from their head office, London, dated February 13:. ‘‘Butler: Since our last wire prices are 6s lower; 541,000 cwt. of butter were imported into the United Kingdom for the month of January, as compared with 425,000 for the corresponding period of lasi year.” Messrs. Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., received ilid following cable from their head office, London, dated February 13: —“At the sheepskin sales 5116 hales were offered and 3382 sold. As compared with last sales closing rates, the ranging prices were: Merino combing skins, 2) 2 d to 3d lower: crossbred, fine and half bred. 2d to 2.jd lower; do., medium! l|d to 2d lower; do., coarse, Id to lower; merino clothing skins, Id to ljd lower; crossbred, line and halihred, Id to '2d lower: do., medium.
