The lirsl by-elect ion in Dundee, owing to the clenlh of Mr. Morel, rcsnlled: Johnson (Labor) 22,07 G; Simon (Liberal) H),2.'M. The Dundee elect ion was not able for tlie small poll, -13,720 elecdors nol voting. The Conservative prospective candidate withdrew in order to allow the Liberal a straight light. Mr. Johnson claims that the’ election issue was solely Socialism versus Capitalism.
