MANCHESTER UNITY ODDFELLOWS.

The fortnightly mooting of the Loyal Gisborne Lodge 6087 was held last night. The attendance being affected by the extra business of Christmas week, several apologies being received. A large amount of correspondence vvaa dealt with from outside lodges and the district. The Grand Master of New Zealand branch, Bro. A. G. Shrimpton, of Nelson, forwarded a splendidly worded season's greetings which was greatly appreciated. Similar greetings vcn'e received from the Auckland district officers, Ashburton district, Loyal Dnnnevirke Lodge, Bro. H. S. M. Quigley, P.D.0.M., and from mumorouh brethren. A very hearty welcome was extended to P.G. Bro. It. A. Ambridge, of Ohristcluirch, and Bro. W. Duncan. P.G., from Auckla.nd. The honors of the Order were heartily accorded them and other visitors from Waipawa and Rangiora, to which the brethren suitably replied Six candidates were proposed for membership, and it was resolved that next lodge night.
