AT THE HIGH SCHOOL. IM P(> lITA NT ANX (?UN CL MFIN T. During the afternoon the Hon. 0. J. Parr paid a visit to the Gisborne High School, the 'Minister being accompanied by Mr. W. 1). Lysnar, M.P., and Air. McLeod, chief inspector of schools. After Air. Parr had m.-.de a tour of the school buildings the scholars were assembled in the ball, and addressed by Mr. Parr.

Mr. Parr said that lie had come, -up from Wellington for the- express purpose of seeing the school. The Board of Governors had been insistent in its demands for more accomodation .for the school, and he could say at once that the Government intended to spend n, very considerable sum of money in improving the accommodation of the Gisborne High School. (Applause.) /
