MEMORANDA.
To-morrow at 2 p.m., Mr Fred Oray will conduct his weekly sale of ppultry. Oood entries are being received of young ducks, 'cockerels and hens. Mr Fred Bar wick holds his usual mart s;:lo to-morrow at 2-p.m., with good entries of poultry, and a nice selection of furniture and sundries; also a fine seleclion of silverware, glassware, and ornaments.
By advertisement the winners in the recent Trades Hall art union who have not yet collected their prize are asked to call at the office in Liberty Ilall tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, between 3 and'4 o’clock. The hoy who drew the numbers in the ballot is also asked to attend.
A meeting of professional athletes and others interested in the formation of a sports club in Poverty Bay is being held in the Borough Council Chambers this evening. It is anticipated that there will be a- good l attendance of sport ing enthusiasts; • • .
