In spite of the almost wintry conditions prevailing yesterday, a, large number of players were present on 1 lie green, and some interesting game* ensued. Following are the results:

Unseasonable weather was experienced yesterday afternoon, and consequently the attendance was not a-s largo as it- undoubtedly would have.been- had the conditions been more favorable. A start was made in the Han Barry Memorial Shield: competition, which hast an entry of 18 full rinks—seven on,Thursday, and 11 on Saturday.
