The Education Committeo reported on the petition of over 800 worn.on teachers, protesting against discrimination in the Education staff regulations and the salaries between male and female teachers. The committee slates its belief that a- reversion from the new scheme to the old scheme, as requested by the petitioners, would not he in tho interests of women teachers. It- has therefore no recommendation to- make. ,
