ADELAIDE, Nov- 6. The cricket match concluded in bright warm weather, the wicket showing signs of wear. Victoria in their second innings lost seven for 420. Pariq made 35, Hendry not out 109, Liddicutt not out 45. Victoria won by three wickets and twelve runs. (Received November 7, 11 a.m.) ADELAIDE, Nov. 7. At cricket Victoria in their second innings made 409, not 420—t’ark 38, Ponsford 77, Woodful 67. Bowling: Grimmett 4 .for 170, A. Richardson 2 for 81. Hendry batted confidently Without hesitation. His display was chanceless, and he severely punished the loose ones. Grimmett bawled remarkably well, taking nine wickets in two innings for 267.
The team to represent North Gisborne Senior B at the Oval to-morrow will be chosen, from, the following: Shelton, Stubbs, Rowe, Gardner, Gardner, Hamilton, Kay, Morrison, Hopper, Stevenson, Holdsworth, Primrose, Yeoman.
North ‘Gisborne juniors will play High School at the High School grounds.
