The German general, Nathusius, arrived at Lille, escorted from Metz, and was imprisoned pending tho court, martial’s review. The general told the escort, he had no knowledge of the details of the charge of thieving furniture. He had nothing to reproach himself with, and ihankrrl the police for their courtesy.
