MEMORANDA.
The What-aupoko Tennis Club’s opening of the season has been postponed until next Saturday, November 15, owing to the recent rain.
To morrow, commencing at 2 p.m., Air. Fred Gray will conduct his .weekly sale of poultry, fminiture, household sundries etc... and on account of the N.Z. Govern, ment Agricultural. Department, an India;; 7-9 motor cycle- and side-- car will be, offered. The St. John’s Flower Association is holding its annual flower show at To Kara bit next Thursday. Present indications point to the show being highly successful, and large cut niff? are anticipated. Tlie roses in the district have done particularly well up to the present, and a bright- display should he seen.
