Mr. .Jambs Alexander Boswell, Christchurch manager of the Westport Coal Company, died yesterday in his fibril year. His illness lasted several weeks. He was horn in Airdrie, Seolland, and caiuo out to New Zen-, land at a fairly early age. He joined the service of the Westport Coal Company oyer "6 years ago, at Dunedin. Then he worked for a time on the West. Coast, and about 15 years ago he became branch manager at Christchurch, a position he ,has held ever since. Mr. Boswell had been in indifferent health for the last 12 months. He leaves a widow, two dairght ers, and a,sou.
