POVERTY BAY CLUB,
The wefckly coimnittec mooting of the Poverty .Bay Club was liokl last' evening in the club-house. Present: Messrs D. G. Mcuzi.es (chairman), ,F. Stichbmy, T. Sheen, E. Reid, C. Penny, and D. G. Walker. It was decided to row the first trial fours, on Friday, the Till November, over the three-quarter,mile course, on the Tarnriver. Mr. A. McConnell was appointed starter, and Mr. J. 11. Q 'Neill judge. Messrs Black and Berwick were elected active members of the club. Messrs., Penny, Walker and Michic were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing week.
