LOADED SCOW SUNK.

DARGAVILLE, this day. U A scow, loaded! with sleepers for the Public Works Department, the Pukehuia, was being towed this morning through ail opening in the Wairoa bridge. She struck one of tin© piles, which knocked a hole in the forepart of the vessel, and caused her to capsize alongside the bridge. Tlie vessel will he repaired in shallow water. It is expected-that no loss will result. The scow belongs to the Kaipnra /S.S. Company.
