The trip will take a little over a week. Cars wifi leave Gisborne and make Opotiki the first day. This will include the world-famed Motu-Opo-tiki Bush and the Motu Falls. The second day Rotorua will be reached, travelling round the five lakes, via Whakatane. Two clays will be spent in Rotorua, and all places of interest will be visited. From Rotorua, the next stop will be Taupo and Wairakei, the heart of the natural Thermal Region. The following day Napier will be reached, and from there the following day to Lake Waikaremoana, via Wairoa, and on to Gisborne the following day, thus cor nleting the 500-mile circuit of the rest scenic run in the world.
