At the sheepskin sales 5800 hales were idle-red. There was an active demand, chiefly on home account, with a lair demand from America and tin- Continent. Merinos and line crossbreds advanced 5 to 71 per cent.,- compared with July prices. Medium low crossbreds were at- 7J) to 10 per cent, advance.

FEILDING STOCK SALE. (Per Press Association.) FEILDING, last night. There was an average yarding of fat sheep at, the Feilding sale, but the quality was not so good as last, week. Prices slightly advanced on late rates. Very few store sheep were yarded and those- only of superior quality sold well. There was an exceptionally heavy yarding of fat cattle, including several lines of very prime heifers and cows. Bidding for all classes was spirited and prices showed a sharp advance on any previous sale this year.
