KILLED BY A TREE.
STRUCK BY FALLING BLUEGUM. (Per PrcSs Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. Malcolm Morrison, widower, aged about 55. residing at Stirling, was killed while felling bltiegums on his nephew’s properly at Kaitanguta this afternoon. The tree on which he was working was apparently rotten, and fell in the opposite direction to that of the ropes, and struck Morrison, who sustained fatal injuries. An iiKiuest will bo held to-morrow.
