The Gisborne High, School Board held a special meeting at the school grounds recently to decide on a. sit© lor the memorial baths which are shortly to be erected. After viewing various sites, (he Board selected a, section at ill© corner of Stanley and School roads, at present being l used as a horse paddock. The Board has issued instructions to the I’ublic Works Department to draw plans and submit estimates of the cost of the work as soon as possible. It is hoped that the baths will lie constructed in time to bo used during the summer months.
