FIRE IN PICTURE THEATRE.
SEVERAL INJURED IN STAMPEDE.

Am audience was watohang the screening of a film in a picture theatre when flames were noticed shooting from the ■ operator's box. Cries of "fire" were :: raised aind a general stampede in, which several persons were seriously injured as a. result of heing crushed. \ The fire wals extinguished after a little damage had been done.
