CARDIAC FAILURE.
DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC, (Per Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, this day. The adjourned inquest concerning the death of Henry Walltey, who expired while under on anaesthetic at Taumarumti hospital, was concluded yesterday. Dr. Fisher, medical superintendent, corroborated the evidence of Drs. Howard and Vivian. The Coroner returned a verdict that death, was due to cardiac failure, induced by chloroform poisoning, no blame being attachable to anyone.
