WORKERS AT WEMBLEY.

Thousands of drenched Wembley workers massed at the stadium, and decider! to raise the embargo on overtime. They cheeied Mr. Thomas' appeal to show I lie world what British workmen were able lo accomplish under deplorable conditions. The workers shouted : "We will finish it. by April 23id." (Router's Telesrrain.) LONDON, April 11. Mr. •). H. Thomas, addressing the workers at Wembley, thanked them on behalf of the Cabinet and the country for the decision to remove the embargo on overtime. He said the recent strike had caused the Government anxiety, because it had undoubtedly retarded the progress ol the Exhibition. Therefore be look the responsibility for asking ihe trade union officials to relax the overtime rule as regards the Exhibition, which bad got to be a success if only beeauso it meant much to the British working class.
