LONDON, April 10.

The Central News Agency's Paris cor-, respondent reports a remarkable story concerning Madame Fahiny Bey. She is living in France. It is understood that owing to legal obstacles, she cannot inherit her husband's fortune of £2,0C0,000. It is alleged that Cassab Bey, a Cairo millionaire, recently approached Madame Fahmy Bey, suggesting that she obtain n male child and claim she was the mother. Then it would be easy to gain possession of the estate. The woman pretended to be favorable to the scheme, but told the police in whose hearing it is alleged that Sassab repented tho offer, and declared that he had found a doctor to play the desired: part. The next day Cassab was seen leaving the doctor's house and was arrested. It is stated he confessed! to the plot, from which he had hoped! to make £2OOO. LONDON, April 11.

Madame Fahmy Bey says that she was going to have a baby, but tripped and fell from n train at Cannes in January. She still intends to bring an action against her husband's family for a. quarter of her husband's effects.
