IN accordance! with Section 43 of "The Education Act, 1914," notice is hereby given that the Hawke's Bay KlJucation Board has appointed MONDAY, the 28th DAY OF APRIL, 1924, ns the day on which the Annual Meeting of Householders will be held for the Election of Committees for the ensuing year. The hour of meeting will he. 8 o'clock, in the evening, and Ihe place of meeting will be in the Schoolhouse in each district, except Oreenmeadows, where the place of meeting will be in the Taradale School, and Wairoa, where the place of meeting will be St. Andrew's Hall. The Householders within the several School Districts are hereby called upon to send in writing by post or delivery so as to be. delivered to the respective chairmen of Die several School Committees not later than 8 o'clock in the evening of MONDAY, APRIL 21, 1924, the names of persons, being householders nominated by them for Election to serve upon the Committee for the year ensuing. In the case of schools having an average attendance exceeding 120 for 1923, no nomination for the Committee will bo valid if received by the respective j chairmen after the last-mentioned time ! and dale. In the case of schools having an average attendance not exceeding 120 for 1923, nominations may, as provided by the Education Act, 1914, be made at the Annual Meeting of Householders.
