LABOR CARNIVAL.
The Labor carnival and sale of work were continued last night in the Liberty Hall. There was a splendid attendance, the carnival having proved to be a great success, and a large attendance is expected to-night. The various slabs were Ihe centres of trood business. In the evening Mr Sharpie's jazz orchestra entertained those present with a very appropriate musical programme, and two pupils of Miss Flora Shaw (Misses Aileen Bryan and Phyllis McPhie) gave exhibitions of pretty fancy dancing. In response to numerous appeals (rnni people in the country the sale of work was open continuously from noon today, and during the evening (here will be ladies' nail driving and wood sawing competitions. in the evening a programme of sonar, and music will be given and the two fancy dances will be repeated.
